Geringhoff worked closely with farmers across North America to develop the most affordable, efficient, and dependable system to harvest their crops. Our engineers utilized farmer feedback and the finest components from around the world to design the North Star* processing system.

The North Star* offers an exceptionally smooth and quiet running system, despite its fierce appetite in the field. And its knife-roll processing moved harvest innovation beyond the basic corn head operation competitors were using. Aside from removing the ears from the stalk, the North Star* processes the stalk, allowing for greater breakdown and post-harvest tillage. The North Star* handles stalks as tough as they come and helps increase harvest production without typical delays caused by changing stalk characteristics and unpredictable harvest conditions, all while allowing for harvest at higher ground speeds.

Standard Feature

Down Corn Auger

The down corn auger makes harvesting down crops even easier. The hydraulically driven conveyor auger located on the outside bodies (left-hand, right-hand, or double-sided design) of your Geringhoff corn head prevents cobs from being slung toward the edge of the crop. It also keeps crop residues from accumulating on the outer bodies.
